Très intéressant. Je crois que les recommandations du Major Smith et celle de Mark Moyar me semblent familières dans le contexte de l’Education Nationale Française (as you may know, I’m a teacher in a High School, belonging to the corps of Agrégé de l’Université). A most interactive way of learning and teaching would be a balanced one versus the classical lecture on one end and the demagogical levelling of knowledge on the other

Thanks for the highlight. I have been pleased with the responses in the blogosphere so far to the article. I appreciate you pointing out how it nests with Ken Burgess’ Mil Review article. Coincidentally, we were ROTC classmates, he was my cadet battalion commander!

We owe our soldiers a better effort than that which has taken place so far.
